Im a filipina and im engaged in a romanian..can you help me to find work for my fiance here in philippines?
I think it is best thos unemployeed Filipinos find work before some foreigner does.

It is highly unlikely your boyfriend will find a job in Philippines that pays a decent wage. There are millions of unemployeed Filipino's who are unemployeed and they are hundreds of thousands of educated Filipino's who are also unemployeed. The wages in the Philippines are very low - equal to approx $3.00 to $10.00 a day in Pesos a day, depending upon education level and seniority.Would your boyfriend want to work for $150 to $200.00 a month? I think not because he is already accustom to his lifestyle.

Just maybe he can obtain a job teaching Koreans English. Many Koreans live in the Philippines for the sole purpose of learning English. the reason why I just said "just maybe" is because Koreans perfer those who are from American and English is their native tongue. Why? because Koreans also want to learn western culture and slang.

I know many Americans and other western expats who live and work in the Philippines. Every one of these friends worked for multi-national companies in their home country and were reassigned to the companies Philippines based operations.

Your fiancee needs to keep in job where he lives and sponsor you to visit him. Again, there is practical no chance he will gain employment in the Philippines. Also it is important to note, it is very difficult for a foreigner to move to the Philippines to find a job. He will require a special work visa from appropriate Philippines goverment agency and it is highly unlikely they will issue one unless he is employeed with a multi-narional company.

Foreigners who move to the Philippines on their own can not legally work, unless they are married to a Filipino and have a 13 series Permanen Residency Visa. Go to the below Bureau of Immigrations link for further info.
Reply:You didn't mention if your fiance has the required working documents. Jobs for foreign nationals are quite limited in the Philippines, he should secure a working permit first before he could work. You can call the Bureau of Immigration Office or Department of Labor and Employment or Department of Foreign Affairs to verify information on this. After he has necessary working documents, then he could start looking for jobs. Generally, he can just be employed in the private companies (also depends the policies of companies about hiring non-Filipino workers). There are lots of companies hiring via internet, he could start from there. Goodluck and God bless...
Reply:There's no money in the Philippines for someone who works an ordinary job overseas. Maybe if he had professional positions but since he's just a normal guy from what you have told us then he has little chance. Not only does he not speak or understand tagalog he would not last there I'm afraid. I'm sure you want this to happen so you can be closer to one another but you should think really hard. He wouldn't be able to support you and your family on the poor salary that people get in the Philippines. I'm sure you dont want to move because you would miss your family but sacrifices need to be made or you are willing to make. The world doesn't work any other way. If normal people in Manila have a really hard time gettting a job then imagine what chance your fiance has? Enough said.
Reply:well, if i were you better think twice, im a filipina, but im in europe now,coz i dnt like the salary in the philippines, why dont you join him in romania instead, anyways try via internet 2 jobstreet.com
Reply:There is hardly any jobs for a Filipino to have. Why would anyone hire a Romanian? Besides he will not work for the level of wages paid to Filipino. How is his Tagalog? Get real!
Reply:You both might want to start a small business instead. He definitely would need a work visa to work, unless he is hired directly by a hotel chain as a manager or something.
Reply:let him pass his resume at Jobstreet, it's easy to be called and get interview appointments from there.
Reply:he will leave you for someone else in the philippines .. mark my word..
