I might be dumb but if you are experienced you have contacts,go to the building sites and someone will know you and point you to work If new to the area take an apprentice type sample of your work and paper qualifications (C of G or whatever) to bosses and asked tobe put on their books for employment ,you must do the leg work and if good you will be in high demand
Reply:look in your local papers for new building sites starting up.

george wimpey, barrats, persimmons, or alternatively look on their websites to see where the new developements are. then go and ask at the site.

my hubby used to do this when he was self employed. hes also a joiner by trade.
Reply:You may have a problem, my dad puts up ceilings and partitionings and he has done for 20 years ( he's self employed ) and first of all he answered adverts in papers ect. but then gradually built up contacts he could use for work. i suggest you do the same :)
Reply:Have a look in your local phone book as they mostly advertise companies there, get the address and start sending out letters with a cv enclosed. Either that or maybe phone them and ask to speak to the manager and explain what you are looking for?

Either way good luck!
Reply:Apply to local building companies. You can call or send your CV.
Reply:Try Poland they must be short over there ...as all theirs are over here
Reply:try gumtree.com.....go to cities, find your area and have a look. Good luck
