Reply:This is an article called Getting a summer job in Greece. Very accurate and true, written by someone who has done it and knows several people who were successful.

It should be mentioned that if you are a non-EU citizen, it is understood you will be working illegally since securing a work visa is a lengthy and difficult process that employers are not willing to do for casual work. Fines and penalties are in effect, and police are stricter today than 10 years ago.

Also, as the first person posted, she has a lot of links to job sites in the third column.
Reply:Thats funny. I'm in the reverse position, an employer looking for workers. But only one I'm afraid. If you go out early to the island of your choice, like May, you can usually just ask around, just canvass the businesses because word spreads fast. Or you can post adds on the newspapers of the islands, which becomes more difficult the bigger the island I guess. I know that I have seen a few employers from Greek islands on www.gumtree.com if you want to post there.

But if you are interested in working in Symi, a small island just off Rhodes that has festivals throught the high season, send me a message, but as I said, I only have one position and otherwise you'd have to check out www.symivisitor.com
