For my question, i intend to live in italy, i have family their... I actualy live in canada right now.. and finished my High school..
I was wondering what type of study should i go in?.. and if it worth it since my diploma may not be recognised..?
I'm talented in computers, web pages... mecanic and i speak french, english and italian.. tourism maybe?
Looking for maybe some Professional school .. 2 years study in something that would help me find work in italy..wich is hard.
Thank you :)
What should i study, to find work in italy ?
you should subscribe "Laurea Triennale" (graduation 1st level). Tourism is ok
like: "gestione dei servizi turistici" (Venice university: www.unive.it) -%26gt; economy and languages
or
"Mediazione linguistica e culturale" (also Venice) -%26gt; culture and languages
then:
"Scienze ambientali" -%26gt; environment studies (Venice)
or
Engineering
(Padua: www.unipd.it)
Computer studies also ok.
Your diploma should be recognized. There's a procedure you can start to obtain "equipollenza" as we call it.
I don't suggest a professional school if you have already High school diploma but a university degree.
Good luck.
Reply:In Italy it is very difficult to find a job if you don't know someone powerful...I think the only way for you is get a job in your country for a company who could send you to work in Italy. I am italian and I left Italy for England because I could find any job.
Reply:look i'm italian and finding a (good) job here is very very hard , but think that it's very good that u now those languages !
Reply:Engineer!!! It's very requested. For example Informatic engineer
Look at these websites: http://www.polimi.it
http://www.polito.it
After that course study you can find a very good work!
Reply:You need a university degree.
Scientific is better.
Engineering is the best.
Electronic, mechanical, TLC are the best. Informatics is good to but a little inflactionated now.
With that you do not even need to speak a perfect Italian (of course you have to somehow speak it) as you would have to do if you work in tourism or banking or things like that.
Forget anything about law, accounting, banking, psychology, literature, languages etc. Low pay and way too much competitors around.
Getting an MBA is a big plus.
Reply:I know it's useless to say - but I'll say it all the same - study Italian. It's not an easy language (even for many Italians!).
One of the big industries in Italy is tourism - you may want to study "things" related to the welcome industry and then find an internship with an international hotel in Italy. Run a check with the Hilton (just to name one of the many) to see what they may have to offer and see how you may be able to make your self "fit in" to their operation. You may want to concentrate your studies on the food industry - you can do this in Italy... and rthen find work there.
Let me know what comes up.
Reply:hi i'm italian and according to me you should study computer science
here, in italy there are few workplaces but now computer science students have many possibilities to find job !!
moreover computer science is one between the easier faculties in Italy.
bye by soad4ever (sorry for my bad english...i'm trying to improve!!!!!!!)
perfect teeth
