I am 14 weeks pregnant and i want to find work. the bad thing is that I feel so sick that I am afraid that I cant work. i dotn want to get a job and then not be able to perform. I just dont know what to do. I dont want to be dependant on my fiance- I also want to be able to contribute. Do anyone have any ideas of what job could be suitable for me?

I am more or less in the same boat as you are right now. My husband and I just moved to a new city and I don't really know anyone and I think that finding a job would help that. However, in all reality who is going to hire someone that is 17 weeks pregnant and going back to school next month? My advice to you (and this is based on answers to a similar question posted on here a few days ago) is to apply with some temp agencies. That way you can work when you want and you won't get in trouble for not working when you don't feel well. Good luck and congratulations!
Reply:I am also pregnant. When I had my first I was working for Edward Jones Investments. They have great benefits not just for health but for school, retirement, life insurance, and more. They have offices all over. Most brokers are more than willing to accommodate for their BOA (branch office administrators) being pregnant. Edward Jones has rated in the top ten companies to work for for at least the last 6 years. Just go to edwardjones.com and check it out for yourself. If and when I go back to work i will most likely go back to Edward Jones. Your more than a secretary when you work for Jones. You get lots of on the job training and help from the headquarters office any time you need. As long as you can show that you are highly motivates and well organized then you don't need any experience for this job. They will show you what to do. You would get to one on one with a broker in a small office. Lots of people skills are a must, as you handle pretty much everything but sales. Good luck with what ever you do. God bless.
Reply:Most women are just sick in the morning. Try for an afternoon or evening job. Don't work anywhere were you can smell food !
Reply:Maybe a convenience store in the evening...
Reply:Try not to get a very stressful job its hard to find work when your expecting. I started looking for work before i found out i was expecting. I made the mistake of being honest by telling the interviewer i was prego ya i didnt find a job untill i was 7 months. they probly thought i was just fat??? its good that you want to work you are contrubuting by wanting to work. you could do babysitting. there is always a need for babysiting.
Reply:finding work can be difficult when you are pregnant

even tho work places arent allowed to reject you because the fact that your pregnant, but they do

id say dont tell them for a few weeks if your not noticable

any kind of jobs fine as long as your not standing up for hours on end and not heavy lifting..

your 14 weeks now right? morning sickness should starting passing around next week

id just say, take it in while u can, i know how u feel i dont work and hubby supports me too but its better to be safe than sorry and also.. after the babies born your not going to get a minutes rest so enjoy being able to relax all day now...

but dont get to use to it hehehe
