Moving family to the algarve, can I find work in advance?

Hi, we want to move our young family to Portugal for a year or so but I am having trouble finding work out there in advance. Does anyone know of any Portugese recruitment agencies, or british ones that specialise in overseas? Thanks,

why Algarve? why does everyone move to Algarve? Like there's no more cities in Portugal. More cultural cities. oh well.

Reply:Go to expat focus.com and log in Portugal, then ask your question. There is a paper called the Algarve Resident which has loads of jobs in but I am not sure whether you can buy it in England. The website will answer most of your questions, because you haven't said what you do. In the summer there is always work for tourist industry people, if you have a trade you will find a job especially building.
Reply:Sorry I dont but remember it is like Spain - it closed down from October to April each year.
