G'day,

I have certainly used alot of employement agencies in Melbourne (Australia) and never have to pay a cent! Just curious at where do you get the info from.

Below are some employment websites that you can get info from.

Ummm... now come to think of it, I think you are saying abt immigration agents aren't you? Yes... immigration agency is expensive. However you can apply for your migration visa by yourself. Just visit the closest Australian embassy/high comm in your area and they'll be able to help you with the type of visa that you need.

Hope this helps. Good luck on your move and welcome to Australia :)
Reply:If you want someone to work for you you have to expect to pay them. Why not look at the job opportunities in the newspapers? The Saturday editions of all the capital city newspapers carry thousands of advertisements for jobs of all sorts. The papers and their classified ads are online. Look for:

The Auatralian (national)

The Sydney Morning Herald

The Canberra Times

The Age (Melbourne)

The Hobart Mercury,

The Adelaide Advertiser

The Courier Mail (Brisbane)

The West Australian (Perth)

The NT News (Darwin)

Do the searching yourself and you won't need to pay anyone to do it for you.
Reply:It is not easy to be allowed to live and work in Australia, unless you are skilled in work that australia is looking for or you have a sponsor

check out the immigration website

http://www.immi.gov.au/
Reply:Do you already have your permanent residency or working visa?? if not, you are putting the cart before the horse.

once you arrive in australia - with your visa - then you can go to centrelink or centrelink sponsored agencies to find a job.

remember if you pay peanuts - you get monkeys.

if you are a doctor or nurse, or a mining engineer, you could be "headhunted" in your country %26amp; all expenses would be paid by the gov't/employer.
