most resturants/other places require their employees to be 16. where can teens find work before then?
Where can young teens find work/ways to make money outside the house?
babysitting, lawn mowing, camp counselor, if your city has a youth bureau or someplace that will hire teens that would be a good place to do it through

Reply:Babysitting is always a good idea. Put up signs in semi-public places where people who know you will see them: churches, the elementary school where your little sister goes, the YMCA, etc. This way, you will be able to make money and you will already know a lot of your clients.
Reply:Me and my brother lived in a large apartment complex, and we'd go door to door asking if anyone had odd jobs for us and they could pay us whatever they wanted. I took out garbage, re-potted a plant, and we both went to the corner store numerous times to fetch newspapers (especially the Sunday edition).
I don't know how safe that is these days. My local paper has a "hire a teen" section in the paper with kids advertising various services. I think it's popular because there are a lot of retirees around who sometimes need help with really basic stuff.
Good luck!
Reply:Babysitting, makes great money

Reply:If you're 15, you can get a work permit. You could work at a pool or for a neighbor or something.
Reply:In many places it is state law that you can't work before you are 16, let us know where you are so that further questions might be able to help you better.
Reply:babysitting, working @ the grocery store!! or fastfood or mowing other peoples lawns and petsitting, and carwahsing, and house cleaning, theses r things that i do 4 money!!
Reply:welli would say babysitting but some people are not confortable leaving their kids with someone else and if anything happens to the child it would be blamed on you so i would say an animal shelter , homless shelter, piccking up groceries for old people little things during the smmer mowing grass is a good thing to do
Reply:I used to work for a newspaper sales crew in Tulsa when I was 13-16. Call the ciruculation dept. to see if your local paper does this. I had a blast doing it. Bascially, the kids work with other teenagers after school and on Sats. selling subscriptions to the paper door-to-door. Plus- its great exercise!!
Reply:try the malls, tutoring
Reply:I live in the US but since im right across the border, I buy mexican(usually spicy) candy and sell it. I bought $50 worth of it and now I have earned $150 and still have some leftovers to sell.
