How does a babysitter/petsitter find work?

I am a certified babysitter and know first aid. I also do pet sitting and housesitting. But I have one problem.....nobody needs a petsitter/babysitter/housesitter! I have tried the online websites but usually those dont work does anybody have any ideas on how to find work? I am thinking about posting a flyer in a couple of preschools, but can you think of anything else?

Reply:Post flyers in the preschools as well as grocery stores and places like that. You can put an ad in the paper but that would cost money. Make sure to pass the word around with family and friends.
Reply:post flyers, or try placing an ad on craigslist.com or in your local paper. also try talking to friends of your with kids. they may have friends that need your assistance. good luck.
